Jamaican-American Chef Jamika’s New Show on TLC

Great news about Chef Jamika the Jamaican-American (father is Jamaican) who was a finalist in "The Next Food Network Star" season 5. She has a new show on TLC called Home Made Simple. It is premiering this Saturday morning, Jan. 15th @ 9/8 central on TLC. See her website for details.

I checked the TLC links, she has regularly scheduled appearances on the show. And from what I read, she will be one of three hosts on each show. She will be addressing cooking in the home and share some recipies and simple cooking tips.

Still glad fi har, hopefully this will lead to bigger and better. I loved watching her when she was on the next food network star, she had that warm personality that I like when watching people on cooking shows.
